Terms of Service

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms apply to every user of the Service. In-app descriptions, purchase screens, cautions, community rules, and other conditions posted by us form part of these Terms. Where a specific condition conflicts with these Terms, the specific condition controls to the extent expressly stated.

2. The Service

The Service provides alarms, squat-based dismissal challenges, fitness records, a departure timer, notifications and speech, rankings, friends, sharing, RiseRep Adventure, advertising, and in-app purchases. Available features may vary by device, operating system, region, age, permissions, network, account status, or release timing.

3. Accounts

1. Cloud sync, rankings, friends, and RiseRep Adventure may require a Firebase Authentication account using Google or an email address.
2. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials and device secure. You may not lend, transfer, sell, or share your account.
3. Abusive multiple accounts, ranking manipulation, and duplicate collection of purchases, ad rewards, invitations, or support benefits are prohibited.
4. Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent where required.

4. Health and Exercise Safety

The Service is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prevention, rehabilitation, or professional exercise instruction. If you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, medication, exercise restriction, or other concern, consult an appropriate professional before use.

Stop exercising immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea, or another abnormal symptom. Check your surroundings, floor, posture, repetitions, and intensity, and do not exceed your safe limits.

5. Alarms, Notifications, and the Departure Timer

Android behavior, permissions, battery optimization, manufacturer restrictions, silent settings, volume, reboot, force stop, storage limits, or operating-system updates may cause alarms, notifications, full-screen displays, or speech to be delayed, silent, hidden, or unavailable.

Do not use the Service as the only reminder for medication, transportation, exams, work, emergencies, or any event where failure could cause serious harm. Use a backup alarm or confirmation method when needed, and verify the next scheduled alarm after using features such as “Skip next only.”

6. Permissions and Device Environment

The Service uses Android capabilities for exact alarms, notifications, full-screen intents, overlays, foreground services, reboot restoration, vibration, and network access. Features may not work correctly if required permissions are denied. You can change permissions in Android settings.

7. Squat Detection

Squat counts are estimates based on device motion sensors and may be inaccurate because of device placement, clothing, posture, speed, or sensor characteristics. Counts are not certified for medical or competitive use. Manipulating detection is prohibited.

8. Rankings, Friends, and Sharing

1. Your display name, profile image or initial, squat totals, rank, selected reward, Pro badge, and Adventure support information may be visible to other users.
2. You may not use impersonating names, infringing images, discriminatory, threatening, obscene, or unlawful content, or confidential personal information in your profile.
3. Rankings and rewards may change because of server calculation, update delays, anti-abuse review, ranking periods, or data corrections.
4. Sharing to an external service is initiated by you and is governed by that service’s terms.

9. RiseRep Adventure

1. Adventure progress, boss HP, attacks, EXP, levels, currencies, materials, chests, characters, equipment, blueprints, shops, crafting, rewards, and support are governed by in-game rules and server records.
2. Changing stages may reset the current boss’s HP when disclosed by the confirmation screen.
3. Chests, drops, and some rewards may involve probability. The conditions and rates shown on the relevant screen apply.
4. Operations may be retried after network failures. Server-confirmed records control in order to prevent duplicate grants.
5. We may adjust enemy strength, rewards, rates, effects, prices, unlock conditions, and limits for fairness, long-term operation, bug fixes, and anti-abuse purposes.

10. Gems, Coins, and Other Virtual Items

1. Gems, Coins, characters, equipment, blueprints, materials, chests, and other game data (“Virtual Items”) are a limited license for use only within the Service. They are not ownership, deposits, e-money, cryptocurrency, or other property rights.
2. Unless expressly offered by us or required by law, Virtual Items cannot be redeemed, refunded, transferred, sold, inherited, or moved between accounts.
3. We may reasonably correct balances or inventory affected by display errors, bugs, abuse, duplicate grants, cancellations, or chargebacks.
4. Treatment of Virtual Items when the Service ends is subject to applicable law and Google Play rules.

11. RiseRep Alarm Pro and In-App Purchases

1. Pro and Gems are offered through Google Play Billing. Google Play terms apply to price, tax, currency, payment, cancellation, and refunds. Purchase screens display localized prices received from Google Play.
2. Pro is a one-time product and may be restored using the same Google Play account, subject to Google Play availability, the in-app account, network access, and purchase verification.
3. Pro benefits may include ad removal, eligible features, an initial Gem benefit, and daily Gems without ads. The purchase screen controls the current benefit description.
4. Gem packs are consumable Virtual Items. Use after delivery, an incorrect device or account, and user-requested refunds are handled under applicable law and Google Play policy.

12. Advertising and Rewarded Ads

The free version displays ads through Google AdMob and InMobi mediation. Advertisers and their partners provide ad content, destinations, products, and services. Transactions with an advertiser are between you and that party.

A rewarded ad grants a reward only after the required viewing condition is completed and, where applicable, confirmed by the server. Network interruption, unavailable inventory, daily limits, or abuse detection may prevent an ad or reward. Automated or fraudulent viewing and traffic manipulation are prohibited.

13. Prohibited Conduct

• Violating law, public policy, these Terms, or applicable third-party terms
• Reverse engineering, modification, cheating, bots, automation, or abusive emulator use
• Bypassing or interfering with App Check, Play Integrity, authentication, billing verification, ads, limits, or rankings
• Submitting false data or reusing purchase tokens or event IDs to obtain duplicate rewards, Gems, or attacks
• Accessing another account, impersonating others, harassment, infringement, or harvesting personal information
• Overloading or harming the Service, servers, networks, or other users
• Unauthorized commercial use or real-money trading of the Service or Virtual Items

14. User Content and Intellectual Property

You or the relevant owner retain rights in profile names and images you provide. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, and display them as necessary for profiles, synchronization, rankings, friends, and abuse prevention within the Service.

The software, images, audio, characters, text, design, trademarks, and other elements of the Service belong to us or their lawful owners. These Terms grant only the limited right to use the Service and do not transfer ownership.

15. Third-Party Services

Google Play, Firebase, Google AdMob, InMobi, Google sign-in, device text-to-speech, and apps selected for sharing are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Outages, changes, or restrictions in those services may affect the Service.

16. Changes, Maintenance, Suspension, and End of Service

We may modify, add, limit, maintain, suspend, or end all or part of the Service for quality, safety, legal or platform compliance, incident response, or operational reasons. Except in emergencies, we will make reasonable efforts to announce material changes in advance.

If a change materially disadvantages paid functionality, we will act in accordance with applicable law and Google Play rules.

17. Account Restriction and Deletion

We may restrict features, hold or correct rewards and balances, suspend, or delete an account without prior notice where you violate these Terms, abuse is reasonably suspected, security requires action, or continued service is impracticable.

You may delete your account in the App. Cloud progress, rankings, friends, and Adventure inventory may then become unrecoverable. Restoration of Pro depends on Google Play purchase records and verification.

18. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, that alarms will always sound, complete accuracy of detection, calculations, translations, or game displays, fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility with every device, permanent data storage, or third-party ads and services.

Except for our willful misconduct or gross negligence and to the extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to direct and ordinary damages. For a paid user, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the purchase that directly caused the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer rights.

19. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. Please review it before using the Service.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect legal, feature, or operational changes. Material changes will be announced on this page, in the App, or by another reasonable method. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance except where separate consent is required by law.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
